About Wilderlight

Cinema as it ought to feel.

We hire beautiful rooms, choose films we genuinely love, and invite sixty people to experience them properly. Wilderlight was created by and for film lovers.

The origin of the idea

Wilderlight started with a simple frustration: that most cinema-going had become transactional. Ticket. Seat. Screen. Leave. Nothing wrong with it — but nothing to remember either.

“We wanted the setting to feel as memorable as the programme.”

So we started asking what would happen if every element of an evening was chosen with the same care as the film itself. The room. The music. The food. The people you’d be sitting next to. The thing you’d take home at the end. The answer was Wilderlight: a pop-up cinema with a point of view, staging intimate screenings in carefully chosen London venues.

Jewel is an event producer and immersive experience designer based in London. Wilderlight is her inaugural venture — a cinematic project built from scratch, with care, and a genuine belief that the best evenings out leave you with something to hold onto.
